Privacy policy
Effective 19 July 2026
Information we use
Guest mode creates a random account identifier so the app can securely request place information. If you choose Google sign-in, we also receive your name, email address, and profile photo. With permission, we send your approximate or precise location to find places nearby. Search terms, selected areas, and place requests are processed only to provide the feature you requested.
What stays on your device
Your date of birth, saved place identifiers, recent searches, selected areas, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The date of birth controls access to adult venue categories and is not sent to us. Find Me Food does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers and diagnostics
We use Google services for authentication, place discovery, maps, and secure app infrastructure. These services may automatically process an IP address, device and SDK metadata, pseudonymous service identifiers, map interactions, and SDK crash diagnostics to provide, protect, and improve their services. Data sent between the app and these services is encrypted in transit.
Retention and deletion
Place results, device location, and search requests are not retained by our server after the request is completed. You can permanently delete a Google-linked account and clear app data from Profile. You can also submit a request through the account deletion page.
